In case you were wondering, Carol Moseley Braun is completely crazy.
My momma has hated CMB for a hot minute, so she is pretty LIVID about her running for mayor.
Sidenote: I’m pretty sure CMB is being interviewed by my childhood hero Carol Marin, who is like, one of the baddest bitches around.
(Side-sidenote: When I was lil bb, I would dress up like Carol and read news headlines to my delighted parents. I straight CRIED when her and Ron Magers left Channel 5.)

This guy is located at 63rd and Pulaski here in Chicago. Act like you know.
Oh but I do know. Ask my father who had to hear “Look Daddy! It’s the Indian!” every time we drove past it.
Terrible Typo of the Day: On the electronic voting machines in a number of Chicago’s predominantly African-American wards, the name of the Green Party gubernatorial candidate is accidentally spelled “Whitey” instead of “Whitney.”
From the Chicago Sun-Times:
The city election board plans to post a “candidate-neutral” list at polling places, showing the correctly spelled names of all candidates on the ballot, Allen said.
The snafu, however, has Whitney contemplating legal action to force a fix.
“I don’t want to be identified as ‘Whitey.’ If this is happening in primarily African-American wards, that’s an even bigger concern,” Whitney told the Chicago Sun-Times. “I don’t know if this is machine politics at play or why this happened.”
The best part? His first name is Rich.
